Flora Stationery is a Texas-based 501(c)3 non-profit started in 2014 to support university scholarships for young women in Kosovo through the sale of stationery products. As the organization has grown, we have continued to support and manage many programs that seek to empower young women through educational opportunities in Kosovo.
OUR STORY

Flora Stationery blossomed from a study abroad trip co-founder, Ashley, took to Kosovo. While there, she met an inspiring young woman who struggled to afford a college education due to means outside of her control.
Determined to create a sustainable solution for funding access to higher education for young women in developing countries, Ashley and her twin sister, Victoria founded Flora Stationery. |

After launching the first line of journal notebooks as a part of an entrepreneurship course at Miami University, Ashley and her sister continued to develop and grow Flora Stationery following their graduation from college. |

In 2016, international shoe company, KEDS, featured Flora Stationery designs on a line of shoes supporting scholarships for young women in Kosovo. Through this partnership, dozens of additional young women were supported through the Flora Stationery scholarship program. |

Later in 2016, Flora Stationery partnered with three other organizations to launch the Balkan's first tuition-free coding academy for women. The goal of the project is to empower young women in the Balkans with the skills and resources to be leaders within the technology industry of their country. |

As of February 2017, Flora Stationery has supported over 100 university semester scholarships for tuition and fees for young women in Kosovo. Pictured is Jeta M., a recent graduate and Flora Stationery scholarship recipient. |
